Prasoon Joshi On Air India's Rebranding Strategy

 

Tata entrusted Prasoon Joshi, led by McCann WorldGroup India, with reviving Air India's branding and advertising. In a conversation with Business Today TV, Mr. Joshi shares that the opportunity in the challenge was to hold the legacy and royalty of Air India's Maharaja while also giving it a modern-day look for the global audience. Tata Group-owned airline Air India revealed its new logo and livery colours on Thursday. As part of its logo, Air India retained the red and white colours, with a dash of purple. The new logo will be called ‘The Vista.’ The airline also revealed its new tail design and theme song as part of the event. Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran said that the logo signifies limitless possibilities and confidence.
